Harvie won the hearts of critics, audiences and the jury at Annecy Animation Festival, with the film scooping three awards, including the "Prix FIPRESC" Press Award, the "Prix du public" Audience Award and the "Prix spécial du jury" which is one of only two awards in the short film category. It is extraordinary for one film to unite critics, audiences and judges, but Harvie's unique charm is clearly irresistible! Harvie also recently won Best Short Film at the Melbourne International Film Festival, the Leeds International Film Festival short animation Louis Le Prince Prize 2003 and the Valladolid International Film Festival Spain, Special Jury Prize 2003.
